I never thought that I wanna become an artist but things happen in life!  I focused on femininty and our divine inner goddess.

ここ数年溜めていた自分のアートワークをネットショップで売ることになりました。自分が絵を描くなんて人生一度たりとも考えもしなかったのですが、こういうハプニングな人生welcomeです。

私の絵は女性性の素晴らしさや、女性主体の現代版春画、自己愛等を主に描いています。絵を描く事で、自分の内面を見つめ直し、自己表現の素晴らしさを感じれて、本当に幸せです。

そして絵を描いてみる事をsuggestしてくれた恩人に心から感謝します。ありがとう。

皆様にとって愛溢れる一年でありますように。

Jazz Violinist ORIE Introduction

Violinist/Composer, Orie has a diverse musical experience from the jazz, blues, rock, pop, hip-hop to the classical music.  

Her formal music studies at the Berklee college of Music  and the Longy School of Music, where she received an undergraduate diploma classical violin performance, and completed a graduate program for Modern American Music Program in May, 2012.  She has studied with Christian Howse, Timo Shanko,  Laura Bossert, Rob Thomas.  

While she attended to school, she have joined the Award - winning group VOX4 string quartet, had collaboration with Remarkable theater brigade at Carnegie Hall.  She was also the finalist with her jazz quartet program for the Longy School of Music Honor's Competition.  She also has been a Director of Experimental Chamber Music Union, recently performed for the victims of Japan’s Tsunami tragedy in her hometown, Japan and  Boston.

２００２年、ボストンのバークリ音楽大学に在学しジャズバイオリンパフォーマンス課を専攻。その後ロンジー音楽大学クラッシクバイオリンパフォーマンス課程に編入し、卒業後は、同大学院にてモダンアメリカンミュージック、モダンジャズパフォーマンス課程を終了。ジャズバイオリニストの第一人者であるクリスチャン
ハウズに師事を受ける。在学中にVOX４ジャズストリングカルテットとモダンオペラのコラボレーションでカーネギーホールに２年連続出演。
その傍ら、譜面の無いフリースタイルの室内音楽ECMUを自らプロデュースする。２０１１年にはグラミー賞受賞バイオリニスト、マークオコーナー氏やヤマハ専属アーティストのエレクトロチェリスト、ダナ レオンをゲストに迎えボストンでコンサートを行う。卒業後はニューオーリンズフレンズ アンド ザ フレーバーズの一員として活動を始める。メンバーにはグラミー賞受賞のチャールズ　ネビル氏などが共演。
Orie自身が曲を書き下ろしリーダーを務めるOrie Jazz QuartetではJazz、R&B、ヒップホップ、ファンク、レゲエなどをツイストするなど次世代を担うジャズバイオリニストとしてアーティストからの信頼が厚い。
